Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. After a rather tough play, Burscheid's Werner Bas got a free kick in the 7th minute. Per Osthoff showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fred Rieker, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. Burscheid's Remo Klauß got a good chance for a goal in the 11th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Franz-Peter Käppele took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Miroslav Demmel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Marco Mühlstein had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Miroslav Demmel fell near the penalty area in the 23rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Burscheid's protests and gave Miroslav Demmel a yellow card for diving instead. Burscheid's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ingo Middelberg was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Franz-Peter Käppele made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Miroslav Demmel in the 32nd minute of play. Marco Mühlstein fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Franz-Peter Käppele having to interfere. After 38 played minutes Burscheid got a freekick which was hit by Marco Mühlstein. In the 39th minute, Ingo Middelberg got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A sloppy throw-in by Ayman Renkewitz in the 43rd minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Lobenstein's Theodor Aepken. Ingo Middelberg's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 44thth minute, Per Osthoff skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Franz-Peter Käppele showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Remo Klauß, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute.

In the 51st minute, Lobenstein's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Miroslav Demmel fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. After having played for 55 minutes, Miroslav Demmel managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Burscheid's supporters crossed their fingers, but Miroslav Demmel was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 58 minutes into the match, Burscheid's goal looked a bit too open when Ingo Middelberg came free, but Per Osthoff reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ingo Middelberg in the 62nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Per Osthoff prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 63 minutes into the game, Burscheid's Remo Klauß nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Franz-Peter Käppele made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Lion Rigotti's late challenge caught a Lobenstein's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Lion Rigotti helped the player get up and apologised. In the 67th minute, Lion Rigotti hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the match clock showed 68 minutes, the score became 2-1 when Ingo Middelberg sped through Burscheid's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Per Osthoff. Per Osthoff stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ingo Middelberg's shot from short distance in the 72nd minute. Shingo Rieger kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. Per Osthoff came out of the goal in the 74th minute to try and stop a shot by Lobenstein's Ingo Middelberg. But to his dismay, Ingo Middelberg quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. Per Osthoff stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ingo Middelberg's shot from short distance in the 77th minute. After 86 minutes of play, Lobenstein's Ingo Middelberg made it 5-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Per Osthoff was left in no man's land by his defense there! Per Osthoff didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ingo Middelberg went, in the 95th minute, to the upper right corner, 6-1 was the resulting score. Lobenstein's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
