Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Heinz Hauer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 2nd minute. Samir Hitzler tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 4 played minutes Geiselwind got a freekick which was hit by Achim Ziener. Geiselwind's Heinz Hauer got a good chance for a goal in the 11th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Geiselwind's Kasimir Spethmann played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rolf Gubitz in the 14th minute of play. Kasimir Spethmann showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rolf Gubitz in the 16th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rolf Gubitz in the 17th minute of play forced Geiselwind's goalkeeper Kasimir Spethmann to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 19th match minute, Geiselwind was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Toralf Hübner to maneuver through the defense. Kasimir Spethmann took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Björn Sabath, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Samir Hitzler made an important save on a dangerous shot by Heinz Hauer in the 28th minute. Kreuer Fürth's Rolf Gubitz got a good chance for a goal in the 31st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Rolf Gubitz took the ball and in the 32 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Kasimir Spethmann. Kasimir Spethmann dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. In the 37th match minute, Geiselwind was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lukas Pieper to maneuver through the defense. Lukas Pieper recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 39th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 40 minutes into the game, Leonhard Butkus was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Kreuer Fürth's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Geiselwind the free kick. The supporters of Geiselwind booed when Kreuer Fürth was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leonhard Butkus didn't get a good kick on the ball. Heinz Hauer might have been able to make a better finish in the 46th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Samir Hitzler. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Heinz Hauer ran back to his position shaking his head. Leonhard Butkus got his second yellow card in the match during the 46th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground.

The wind increased when Winfried Lammertz made the kick off in the second half. Achim Ziener recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 54th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Frederik Heermann hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Winfried Lammertz in the 56th minute of play forced Kreuer Fürth's goalkeeper Samir Hitzler to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Kreuer Fürth getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Jürn Kludig hit a great ball. If Heinz Hauer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Winfried Lammertz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 67thth minute of the game Winfried Lammertz who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Kreuer Fürth's Samir Hitzler was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Jürn Kludig kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Geiselwind's Lukas Pieper got a free kick in the 73rd minute. Heinz Hauer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Samir Hitzler having to interfere. Björn Sabath charged in rather forcefully in the 77th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Björn Sabath the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 77th minute, Björn Sabath hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Samir Hitzler came out of the goal in the 80th minute to try and stop a shot by Geiselwind's Achim Ziener. But to his dismay, Achim Ziener quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. After a defensive mix-up in Kreuer Fürth's zone, Heinz Hauer stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Samir Hitzler came out of the goal and Heinz Hauer tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Samir Hitzler made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Heinz Hauer in the 86th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Winfried Lammertz in the 89th minute of play forced Kreuer Fürth's goalkeeper Samir Hitzler to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Winfried Lammertz in the 92nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Samir Hitzler prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Achim Ziener fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Samir Hitzler having to interfere. In the 97th minute, Heinz Hauer got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Geiselwind players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
