Giovane Thiele hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. Kasimir Spethmann was out of position in the 9 minute of play, and Leon Artmann capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Leon Artmann really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. Theo Aumüller was left in no man's land by his defense there! After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Winfried Lammertz to strike the kick off in the second half. Kasimir Spethmann showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leon Artmann in the 53rd minute of the match.
