Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Nikolaus Kollar took the kick off in the first half of the match. After recieving a nice pass, Lobenstein's Fred Rieker tried to score from far away in the 3rd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. The supporters of Lobenstein booed when Heusweiler was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Philippe Sprenger didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 10th minute of the match Heusweiler got a corner. Lobenstein's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Nikolaus Kollar ran over to the corner to take the kick. Georg Ulrich Kaemmer took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fred Rieker, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 13th minute, Oliver Stemmer hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Enak Prott fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Franz-Peter Käppele having to interfere. Jaime Linz kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. Heusweiler's Nikolaus Kollar got a good chance for a goal in the 20th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 22nd minute, Dominik Kerbsties got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Georg Ulrich Kaemmer took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ingo Middelberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 27th minute, Nikolaus Kollar managed to get in a good position for a shot. Heusweiler's supporters rose to their feet, but Nikolaus Kollar was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Franz-Peter Käppele breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Dominik Kerbsties's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Franz-Peter Käppele read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 28th minute of play. Olav Ginsberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Georg Ulrich Kaemmer having to interfere. Franz-Peter Käppele made a fantastic save in the 32nd minute, when Dominik Kerbsties sent off a good shot on target. In the 34th minute, Oliver Stemmer left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Heusweiler fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. 38 minutes into the game, Ingo Middelberg cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Georg Ulrich Kaemmer was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Nikolaus Kollar struck a weak shot in the 44th minute. Franz-Peter Käppele didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Heusweiler. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The wind increased when Ingo Middelberg made the kick off in the second half. Heusweiler's Nikolaus Kollar got a good chance for a goal in the 51st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 59 minutes into the match, Heusweiler's Nikolaus Kollar sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Franz-Peter Käppele narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Heusweiler's Georg Ulrich Kaemmer proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 61st minute of the match, managed to save Heusweiler from getting a goal against them. Christoph Blaßkiewitz charged in rather forcefully in the 62nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Christoph Blaßkiewitz the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 61 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Heusweiler! In the 63rd minute there was a penalty for Lobenstein. Fred Rieker stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Georg Ulrich Kaemmer. 1-2. If Nikolaus Kollar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Oliver Stemmer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Franz-Peter Käppele having to interfere. 73 minutes into the match, Nikolaus Kollar had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Franz-Peter Käppele. Lobenstein's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Nikolaus Kollar was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. Olav Ginsberg hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nikolaus Kollar in the 78th minute of play forced Lobenstein's goalkeeper Franz-Peter Käppele to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Dominik Kerbsties's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Franz-Peter Käppele was relentless in the 79th minute of the game. Heusweiler's Pawel Kerbsties got a good chance for a goal in the 82nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Franz-Peter Käppele made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Willi Dujic in the 83rd minute of play. Georg Ulrich Kaemmer was a little too slow when Ingo Middelberg got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 85th minute. The score was now 2-3. If Nikolaus Kollar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 98th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead.
