With a couple of smart ball manuevers Peter Kürten in the 25th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Luis Hönig saved FC Holzkopf from getting behind. When Kristian Kock came up free with the goalie in the 29th minute, the FC Holzkopf fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kristian Kock couldn't finish the play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Kristian Kock got free with Gennaro Wiesemann in the 33rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 33rd minute, Kristian Kock reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Gennaro Wiesemann. The goal made the score 1-0. Luis Hönig took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Peter Kürten, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.

With a little luck, FC Holzkopf's Luis Hönig got control of the ball when Christopher Ellinghaus tried to sneak it across the goal line. Christopher Ellinghaus could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 63rd minute of the match, but Luis Hönig made a huge save. Kristian Kock struck a weak shot in the 64th minute. Gennaro Wiesemann didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Holzkopf. In the 69th match minute, FC Holzkopf was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lennert Scheil to maneuver through the defense. Gittelde FSV's Christopher Ellinghaus got a good chance for a goal in the 70th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. FC Holzkopf's Luis Hönig proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 71st minute of the match, managed to save FC Holzkopf from getting a goal against them. Tarik Wies's late challenge caught a FC Holzkopf's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Tarik Wies helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Gittelde FSV getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Tarik Wies hit a great ball. In the 74th minute of the match Tassilo Goldsche shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Gennaro Wiesemann showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Christopher Ellinghaus got free with Luis Hönig in the 76th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Christopher Ellinghaus sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Luis Hönig was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 95th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Tarik Wies. If Christopher Ellinghaus had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 98th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The FC Holzkopf fans cheered their team off the field, for while Gittelde FSV had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
