Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Robert Rückert made a fantastic save in the 3rd minute, when Christopher Ellinghaus sent off a good shot on target. Cosimo Holtei's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gennaro Wiesemann read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 5th minute of play. In the 8th minute, Sören Stöckel left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC Eisern 66 fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. With a little luck, FC Eisern 66's Robert Rückert got control of the ball when Christopher Ellinghaus tried to sneak it across the goal line. Gittelde FSV's Gennaro Wiesemann played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sören Stöckel in the 21st minute of play. 23 minutes into the match, FC Eisern 66's Sören Stöckel sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Gennaro Wiesemann narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 26 minutes into the game, Christopher Ellinghaus cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Robert Rückert was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Robert Rückert took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Peter Kürten, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gennaro Wiesemann made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sören Stöckel in the 35th minute of play. 40 minutes into the match, FC Eisern 66's goalkeeper Robert Rückert had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Fabian Eller. Cosimo Holtei received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 48th minute. Gennaro Wiesemann tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Peter Kürten made a kick off. Robert Rückert took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fabian Eller, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fabian Eller in the 60th minute of play forced FC Eisern 66's goalkeeper Robert Rückert to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Christopher Ellinghaus hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. In the 66th minute Mehdi Cremer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Robert Rückert saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gennaro Wiesemann came out of the goal in the 69th minute to try and stop a shot by FC Eisern 66's Cosimo Holtei. But to his dismay, Cosimo Holtei quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. In the 72nd minute, Ralf Bodenmüller hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Robert Rückert showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Peter Kürten in the 76th minute of the match. 84 minutes into the game, Fabian Eller cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-3. Robert Rückert was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Christopher Ellinghaus had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 90 minutes into the match, Peter Kürten had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Robert Rückert. FC Eisern 66's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Peter Kürten was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-3. In the 94th minute, Fabian Eller ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Robert Rückert was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-3. Fabian Eller might have been able to make a better finish in the 97th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Robert Rückert. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Fabian Eller ran back to his position shaking his head. Gittelde FSV walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
