Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Ingo Middelberg started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. When Winfried Lammertz came up free with the goalie in the 3rd minute, the Geiselwind fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Winfried Lammertz couldn't finish the play. The long shot by Gunter Marsching in the 6th minute really tested Franz-Peter Käppele's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Achim Ziener kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. Kasimir Spethmann made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Olav Ginsberg in the 10th minute of play. Franz-Peter Käppele made an important save on a dangerous shot by Heinz Hauer in the 15th minute. After 20 minutes, Olav Ginsberg mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Lobenstein and the Geiselwind players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Lobenstein's Olav Ginsberg got a free kick in the 20th minute. Franz-Peter Käppele took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Winfried Lammertz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Heinz Hauer got free with Franz-Peter Käppele in the 23rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Franz-Peter Käppele made a fantastic save in the 24th minute, when Heinz Hauer sent off a good shot on target. Winfried Lammertz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Geiselwind's zone, Olav Ginsberg stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kasimir Spethmann came out of the goal and Olav Ginsberg tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Geiselwind's Manfred Hannken got a free kick in the 33rd minute. Lobenstein's Theodor Aepken managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Toralf Hübner in the 38 minute of the game. Kasimir Spethmann made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ingo Middelberg in the 41st minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Achim Ziener during the 41st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Geiselwind's Achim Ziener got a free kick in the 41st minute. Nico Ambrosius's late challenge caught a Geiselwind's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Nico Ambrosius helped the player get up and apologised. In the 45th match minute, Lobenstein was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nico Ambrosius to maneuver through the defense. Geiselwind's Manfred Hannken managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Theodor Aepken in the 47 minute of the game. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Winfried Lammertz stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd match minute, Lobenstein was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jaime Linz to maneuver through the defense. Winfried Lammertz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 53rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Franz-Peter Käppele showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Heinz Hauer in the 56th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 57th minute, Winfried Lammertz managed to get in a good position for a shot. Geiselwind's supporters rose to their feet, but Winfried Lammertz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Franz-Peter Käppele breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ingo Middelberg could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 63rd minute of the match, but Kasimir Spethmann made a huge save. Kasimir Spethmann showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ingo Middelberg in the 65th minute of the match. Heinz Hauer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Franz-Peter Käppele tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 71st match minute, Lobenstein was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Scott Westermayer to maneuver through the defense. Geiselwind's Kasimir Spethmann played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Olav Ginsberg in the 74th minute of play. 76 minutes into the game, Giovane Thiele was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Geiselwind's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Lobenstein the free kick. Kasimir Spethmann made an important save on a dangerous shot by Fred Rieker in the 83rd minute. Geiselwind's Kasimir Spethmann proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 84th minute of the match, managed to save Geiselwind from getting a goal against them. Till Schmitter hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Winfried Lammertz in the 95th minute of play forced Lobenstein's goalkeeper Franz-Peter Käppele to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
