Spectators: 6000 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Marco Köstner started the match with the kick off. 4 minutes into the match, SG Elbflorenz's goal looked a bit too open when Baptist Klee came free, but Robert Bandmann reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Robert Bandmann didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Maik Dutzmann went, in the 7th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. SG Elbflorenz's Mario Ramsauer got a good chance for a goal in the 12th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of SG Elbflorenz booed when SC Halberg was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lester Schlottmann didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 15th minute Hemmo Griese shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marco Zukrigl saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 17th minute, Maik Dutzmann ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Robert Bandmann was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. The supporters of SC Halberg booed when SG Elbflorenz was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marcus Frantzen didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 23 minutes of play, SC Halberg's Joseph Olbers made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Robert Bandmann was left in no man's land by his defense there! SC Halberg's Marco Zukrigl proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 32nd minute of the match, managed to save SC Halberg from getting a goal against them. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mario Ramsauer got free with Marco Zukrigl in the 33rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Marco Zukrigl showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hemmo Griese in the 39th minute of the match. Hemmo Griese received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Marco Zukrigl tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. SG Elbflorenz's Hemmo Griese got a good chance for a goal in the 48th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The SG Elbflorenz players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. SC Halberg were winning 0-4.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Mario Ramsauer stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the match, SG Elbflorenz's Hemmo Griese sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Marco Zukrigl narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 54th minute Hemmo Griese shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marco Zukrigl saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Robert Bandmann made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marco Köstner in the 57th minute of play. In the 58th minute, Marco Köstner got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Marco Zukrigl showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hemmo Griese, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. Marco Zukrigl showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mario Ramsauer in the 69th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mario Ramsauer in the 80th minute of play forced SC Halberg's goalkeeper Marco Zukrigl to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mario Ramsauer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Marco Zukrigl tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 85th match minute, SC Halberg was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Joseph Olbers to maneuver through the defense. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. SC Halberg had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
