The audience thought a goal was coming when Gregor Barnett got free with Eduard Gönner in the 13th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A collision led to Blauenstein FC getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Levi Wessel hit a great ball. Eduard Gönner showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Harry Steffen in the 19th minute of the match. In the 21st minute, Marco Kohler got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 24th minute, Blauenstein FC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Harry Steffen fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. When the match had gone on for 27 minutes, Gregor Barnett put it in 1-1 from a short distance just to the right of Eduard Gönner. Fritz Ohmer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rob Bornscheuer in the 31st minute of play. In the 35th minute, Ulrich Brüggmann hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Lukas Friz during the 36th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Selm Bork's Lukas Friz got a free kick in the 36th minute. Harry Steffen blasted a shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Eduard Gönner having to make a save. 40 minutes into the game, Selm Bork's Gregor Barnett nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Eduard Gönner made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Rob Bornscheuer was the one to do the kick off. Eduard Gönner stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tom Seitz's shot from short distance in the 51st minute. Fritz Ohmer showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rob Bornscheuer, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. 59 minutes into the game, Selm Bork's Harry Steffen nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Eduard Gönner made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. Eduard Gönner showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Harry Steffen, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. Harry Steffen struck a weak shot in the 70th minute. Eduard Gönner didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Selm Bork. Gregor Barnett took the ball and in the 71 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Eduard Gönner. Eduard Gönner dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-1. Harry Steffen recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 78th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 6-1 became the score in the 80th minute when Harry Steffen elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Blauenstein FC's Eduard Gönner played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gregor Barnett in the 85th minute of play. Conni Grill kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. In the 89th minute Harry Steffen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eduard Gönner saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Eduard Gönner showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gregor Barnett in the 94th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 95th minute, Harry Steffen managed to get in a good position for a shot. Selm Bork's supporters rose to their feet, but Harry Steffen was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Eduard Gönner breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Selm Bork fully deserved thier win.
