Spectators: 6000 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Mario Ramsauer started the match with the kick off. Robert Bandmann showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Maurizio Reimann in the 4th minute of the match. After 5 minutes, Rudi Uedickoven mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Govelin and the SG Elbflorenz players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Govelin's Rudi Uedickoven got a free kick in the 5th minute. Robert Bandmann showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alfred Marienfeld in the 7th minute of the match. Govelin's Charly Kösters played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hemmo Griese in the 8th minute of play. After 8 played minutes Govelin got a freekick which was hit by Alfred Marienfeld. Robert Bandmann showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alfred Marienfeld, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. In the 16th minute Mark Schwarzbach shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Robert Bandmann saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 17th minute, Jannik Andelfinger hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mario Ramsauer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Charly Kösters tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hemmo Griese in the 21st minute of play forced Govelin's goalkeeper Charly Kösters to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Hemmo Griese came up free with the goalie in the 25th minute, the SG Elbflorenz fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hemmo Griese couldn't finish the play. After 28 played minutes SG Elbflorenz got a freekick which was hit by Marcus Frantzen. Mario Ramsauer's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Charly Kösters firmly grabbed it by the left post. After having played for 36 minutes, Mario Ramsauer managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SG Elbflorenz's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mario Ramsauer was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 40th minute, Hemmo Griese reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Charly Kösters. The goal made the score 1-0. Charly Kösters showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hemmo Griese, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The wind increased when Maurizio Reimann made the kick off in the second half. Robert Bandmann made a fantastic save in the 57th minute, when Rudi Uedickoven sent off a good shot on target. SG Elbflorenz's Nikolaos Kamp quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Timo Klingberg, made in the 61st minute of the game. In the 72nd minute, Maurizio Reimann hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Govelin booed when SG Elbflorenz was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nikolaos Kamp didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Maurizio Reimann in the 74th minute of play forced SG Elbflorenz's goalkeeper Robert Bandmann to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 76 minutes into the game, Dieter Riehm was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. SG Elbflorenz's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Govelin the free kick. Jannik Andelfinger kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hemmo Griese in the 81st minute of play forced Govelin's goalkeeper Charly Kösters to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Govelin's Charly Kösters played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mario Ramsauer in the 85th minute of play. Charly Kösters showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hemmo Griese in the 86th minute of the match. 89 minutes into the match, Mario Ramsauer had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Charly Kösters. Govelin's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Mario Ramsauer was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0.
