After 8 played minutes Delay Sports got a freekick which was hit by Benno Jenssen. Klement Burkart kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. Max Schachow received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Fritz Ohmer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Selm Bork's Fritz Ohmer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hartmut Posch in the 34th minute of play. Gregor Barnett hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. If Gregor Barnett had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Hartmut Posch to strike the kick off in the second half. Delay Sports's Hartmut Posch got a good chance for a goal in the 54th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Gregor Barnett scored 1-1 in the 67th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Kaspar Bader-Glöckner, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Axel Aeuer hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. In the 75th minute Harry Steffen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kaspar Bader-Glöckner saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kaspar Bader-Glöckner showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gregor Barnett in the 76th minute of the match. Kaspar Bader-Glöckner showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Harry Steffen, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. Egon Marschall charged in rather forcefully in the 82nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Egon Marschall the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Hartmut Posch received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. When Harry Steffen came up free with the goalie in the 93rd minute, the Selm Bork fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Harry Steffen couldn't finish the play. Adnan Garnschröder could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 99th minute of the match, but Fritz Ohmer made a huge save. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
