Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. A wasted opportunity for Blauenstein FC. If Boris Kuhlmann had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. David Leutheusser took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Boris Kuhlmann, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Oka Jäger sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Eduard Gönner made an important save on a dangerous shot by Raimar Cremer-Ricken in the 17th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Oka Jäger in the 22nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Eduard Gönner saved Blauenstein FC from getting behind. After 26 played minutes Schürensöhlen got a freekick which was hit by Emilio Beckmann. In the 28th minute the ball was on its way in behind Schürensöhlen's goalkeeper David Leutheusser, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Schürensöhlen's Jakob Röwekamp got a good chance for a goal in the 30th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 34 played minutes Oka Jäger rounded Blauenstein FC's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 2-0. In the 38th minute Lars Siewert collided with an opponent which caused him a fractured collar bone. After 38 minutes, Oka Jäger mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Schürensöhlen and the Blauenstein FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Schürensöhlen getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Oka Jäger hit a great ball. 41 minutes into the game, Rob Bornscheuer cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. David Leutheusser was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Emilio Beckmann sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

In the 52nd minute, Emilio Beckmann hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Paco Amberger charged in rather forcefully in the 53rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Paco Amberger the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Paco Amberger hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. With a little luck, Schürensöhlen's David Leutheusser got control of the ball when Ulrich Brüggmann tried to sneak it across the goal line. Eduard Gönner came out of the goal in the 61st minute to try and stop a shot by Schürensöhlen's Jakob Röwekamp. But to his dismay, Jakob Röwekamp quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. The supporters of Schürensöhlen booed when Blauenstein FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ulrich Brüggmann didn't get a good kick on the ball. 68 minutes into the match, Jakob Röwekamp notched a goal, 4-1, to the right of Blauenstein FC's Eduard Gönner. Eduard Gönner was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 77th minute, Niko Sombrutzki fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Eduard Gönner showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jakob Röwekamp, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. After having played for 86 minutes, Oka Jäger managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Schürensöhlen's supporters crossed their fingers, but Oka Jäger was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 91st minute, Oka Jäger got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some careless play in the Blauenstein FC defense, Oka Jäger kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Eduard Gönner. The Blauenstein FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Eduard Gönner should have stopped the shot. For all the effort they put into the match, the Blauenstein FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Schürensöhlen.
