Robert Bandmann made a fantastic save in the 4th minute, when Hieronymus König sent off a good shot on target. Hemmo Griese received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 5th minute. Efraim Boehm tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 9 minutes into the match, FC Bremerhaven's goal looked a bit too open when Hemmo Griese came free, but Efraim Boehm reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of FC Bremerhaven booed when SG Elbflorenz was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mario Ramsauer didn't get a good kick on the ball. Efraim Boehm showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hemmo Griese, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. Robert Bandmann came out of the goal in the 17th minute to try and stop a shot by FC Bremerhaven's Livio Veth. But to his dismay, Livio Veth quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Robert Bandmann took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Anthony Käding, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience was convinced that Hemmo Griese's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Efraim Boehm was relentless in the 29th minute of the game. After some fancy dribbling in the 32nd minute, Hemmo Griese managed to get in a good position for a shot. SG Elbflorenz's supporters rose to their feet, but Hemmo Griese was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Efraim Boehm breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Efraim Boehm took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mario Ramsauer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Efraim Boehm came out of the goal in the 35th minute to try and stop a shot by SG Elbflorenz's Mario Ramsauer. But to his dismay, Mario Ramsauer quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Efraim Boehm showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hemmo Griese, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. Mario Ramsauer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Efraim Boehm having to interfere. An unexpected shot in the 45th minute by Niko Homann got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. If Mario Ramsauer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

With a little luck, FC Bremerhaven's Efraim Boehm got control of the ball when Mario Ramsauer tried to sneak it across the goal line. Hemmo Griese fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Efraim Boehm having to interfere. In the 62nd minute Livio Veth shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Robert Bandmann saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 66 played minutes Hemmo Griese rounded FC Bremerhaven's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-2. In the 68th minute, Niko Homann hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Hemmo Griese sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Robert Bandmann took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Anthony Käding, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 81st minute, Livio Veth made a precise shot to the right of Robert Bandmann. SG Elbflorenz's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-2. Konstantin Northe hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. When Hemmo Griese came up free with the goalie in the 88th minute, the SG Elbflorenz fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hemmo Griese couldn't finish the play. Robert Bandmann showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gero Bachblüte, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. With an all-out effort, SG Elbflorenz's Efraim Boehm threw himself towards the right post 92 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Hemmo Griese, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Livio Veth kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. 97 minutes into the match, FC Bremerhaven's goalkeeper Efraim Boehm had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mario Ramsauer.
