Leon Haslbeck showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Harry Steffen in the 7th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Harry Steffen in the 8th minute of play forced ORDU CITY's goalkeeper Leon Haslbeck to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Leon Haslbeck made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Harry Steffen in the 16th minute of play. In the 18th minute Arno Schmidt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fritz Ohmer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 20th match minute, ORDU CITY was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jonas Reincke to maneuver through the defense. After 24 played minutes Selm Bork got a freekick which was hit by Lukas Friz. Leon Haslbeck took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gregor Barnett, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Selm Bork booed when ORDU CITY was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Philipp Bäßler didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gregor Barnett fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leon Haslbeck having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in ORDU CITY's zone, Gregor Barnett stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Leon Haslbeck came out of the goal and Gregor Barnett tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Harry Steffen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 41 minutes of play, ORDU CITY's Phoenix Püschel made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Fritz Ohmer was left in no man's land by his defense there! 45 minutes into the match, Gregor Barnett notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of ORDU CITY's Leon Haslbeck. Leon Haslbeck was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Arno Schmidt was the one to do the kick off. Leon Haslbeck took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lukas Friz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Selm Bork's Marco Kohler got a good chance for a goal in the 52nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Leon Haslbeck made an important save on a dangerous shot by Rodolfo Wilbert in the 54th minute. If Lukas Friz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 57 minutes into the game, Jochem Heyckendorf was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Selm Bork's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave ORDU CITY the free kick. After 56 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Selm Bork! Marco Kohler hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. 70 minutes into the match, Selm Bork's Harry Steffen sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Leon Haslbeck narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Harry Steffen recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 73rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Gregor Barnett sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 77 minutes into the game, Hermann Hell was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. ORDU CITY's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Selm Bork the free kick. Hermann Hell hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in ORDU CITY's zone, Harry Steffen stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Leon Haslbeck came out of the goal and Harry Steffen tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Leon Haslbeck made a fantastic save in the 85th minute, when Gregor Barnett sent off a good shot on target. When Gregor Barnett got free in front of the goal in the 87th minute he wasn't very focused and chipped the ball just over the goal. Leon Haslbeck was delighted since he was out of position and the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. After having played for 90 minutes, Harry Steffen managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Selm Bork's supporters crossed their fingers, but Harry Steffen was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Harry Steffen's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Leon Haslbeck read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 97th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jonas Reincke during the 98th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Harry Steffen blasted a shot towards the goal in the 100th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Leon Haslbeck having to make a save.
