Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Oka Jäger kicked off to start the match. In the 3rd minute, Schürensöhlen's Oka Jäger dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. David Leutheusser made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Linus Böwering in the 10th minute of play. Jakob Röwekamp's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Eberhard Fritzenwanker firmly grabbed it by the left post. Eberhard Fritzenwanker took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Oka Jäger, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Oka Jäger came up free with the goalie in the 19th minute, the Schürensöhlen fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Oka Jäger couldn't finish the play. After 20 played minutes BSC Young Boys got a freekick which was hit by Meik Zahn. If Jakob Röwekamp had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. David Leutheusser showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alois Wirtz in the 26th minute of the match. Linus Böwering hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. 32 minutes into the match, Schürensöhlen's goal looked a bit too open when Alois Wirtz came free, but David Leutheusser reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alois Wirtz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 34th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, BSC Young Boys's Calvin Janssen got a free kick in the 35th minute. The audience was convinced that Oka Jäger's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Eberhard Fritzenwanker was relentless in the 36th minute of the game. Oka Jäger sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Alois Wirtz was the one to do the kick off. Calvin Janssen's late challenge caught a Schürensöhlen's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Calvin Janssen helped the player get up and apologised. In the 53rd minute, Calvin Janssen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Oka Jäger fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eberhard Fritzenwanker having to interfere. After having played for 56 minutes, Jakob Röwekamp managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Schürensöhlen's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jakob Röwekamp was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. David Leutheusser made a fantastic save in the 71st minute, when Linus Böwering sent off a good shot on target. After having played for 73 minutes, Linus Böwering managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. BSC Young Boys's supporters crossed their fingers, but Linus Böwering was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Alois Wirtz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alois Wirtz in the 81st minute of play forced Schürensöhlen's goalkeeper David Leutheusser to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alois Wirtz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Daniel Spieß's late challenge caught a Schürensöhlen's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. In the 93rd minute Alois Wirtz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but David Leutheusser saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Raimar Cremer-Ricken's late challenge caught a BSC Young Boys's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Raimar Cremer-Ricken helped the player get up and apologised. In the 98th minute, Raimar Cremer-Ricken hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Alois Wirtz was extremely unlucky when he, in the 99th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Schürensöhlen fans cheered their team off the field, for while BSC Young Boys had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
