In the 36th match minute, SC Halberg was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dan Mokros to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought it was a sure goal in the 38th minute, when FC Bremerhaven's Anthony Käding after having done a great run through the defense got himself free with Marco Zukrigl in SC Halberg's goal and fired away a shot, but it missed the goal by a fraction of an inch. In the 43rd minute Niko Homann shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marco Zukrigl saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Maik Dutzmann had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Marco Köstner fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Efraim Boehm having to interfere.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Niko Homann made a kick off. A collision led to SC Halberg getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Baptist Klee hit a great ball. In the 63rdth minute of the game Niko Homann who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but SC Halberg's Marco Zukrigl was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Hieronymus König sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Anthony Käding received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Marco Zukrigl tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Marco Zukrigl made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Niko Homann in the 69th minute of play. In the 73rd minute of the match Clark Doderer sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Marco Zukrigl skillfully saved the ball. Marco Zukrigl didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Niko Homann went, in the 75th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. Maik Dutzmann struck a weak shot in the 81st minute. Efraim Boehm didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SC Halberg. Marco Köstner sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 85th minute, Niko Homann got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 86 minutes into the game, FC Bremerhaven's Niko Homann nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Marco Zukrigl made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-2. In the 90th minute, Hieronymus König hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 92 minutes into the match, SC Halberg's goal looked a bit too open when Hieronymus König came free, but Marco Zukrigl reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
