The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Arnim Kircher fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Torsten Keiderling having to interfere. Torsten Keiderling came out of the goal in the 5th minute to try and stop a shot by Ponlehen FSV's Jaap von Gyldenfeldt. But to his dismay, Jaap von Gyldenfeldt quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. If Jaap von Gyldenfeldt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 28 minutes, Ruth Bankert mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Oberndorf City FC and the Ponlehen FSV players grew even worse after the yellow card. Ruth Bankert kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. 36 minutes into the match, Oberndorf City FC's goal looked a bit too open when Jaap von Gyldenfeldt came free, but Torsten Keiderling reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Jaap von Gyldenfeldt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 41 minutes into the match, Arnim Kircher notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Oberndorf City FC's Torsten Keiderling. Torsten Keiderling was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jaap von Gyldenfeldt stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Torsten Keiderling showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jaap von Gyldenfeldt in the 53rd minute of the match. Julius Garczyk received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Torsten Keiderling tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jaap von Gyldenfeldt might have been able to make a better finish in the 57th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Torsten Keiderling. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jaap von Gyldenfeldt ran back to his position shaking his head. When Jaap von Gyldenfeldt came up free with the goalie in the 59th minute, the Ponlehen FSV fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jaap von Gyldenfeldt couldn't finish the play. In the 60th minute, Jaap von Gyldenfeldt got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpected shot in the 62nd minute by Julius Garczyk got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Ruth Bankert sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jaap von Gyldenfeldt in the 69th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Torsten Keiderling prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Jaap von Gyldenfeldt might have been able to make a better finish in the 77th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Torsten Keiderling. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jaap von Gyldenfeldt ran back to his position shaking his head. When Jaap von Gyldenfeldt came up free with the goalie in the 78th minute, the Ponlehen FSV fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jaap von Gyldenfeldt couldn't finish the play. Through an outstanding action, after 80 minutes, Torsten Keiderling successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Jaap von Gyldenfeldt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Arnim Kircher fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Torsten Keiderling having to interfere. Torsten Keiderling was out of position in the 96 minute of play, and Jaap von Gyldenfeldt capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Jaap von Gyldenfeldt really showed his touch with that goal: 0-4. Ponlehen FSV played a much better game than Oberndorf City FC and deserved their victory. The Oberndorf City FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
