In a very dangerous position, a player in Frischauf Harleshausen fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 12th minute. Penalty! Jan Albrecht placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! A very good chance. The supporters of Frischauf Harleshausen booed when FC Union Thale was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Emmerich Noll to make the kick off. Christer Kindler was a little too slow when Gereon van Essen got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 51st minute. The score was now 0-4. Emmerich Noll might have been able to make a better finish in the 55th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Christer Kindler. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Emmerich Noll ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 56th match minute, Frischauf Harleshausen was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jupp Götze to maneuver through the defense. Christer Kindler was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 71stth minute of the game Alvar Trimpin who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC Union Thale's Leopold Kläser was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 72 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for FC Union Thale! FC Union Thale:s Leopold Kläser showed great skill when he stopped Roger Maller:s penalty. Jan Arnecke sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gereon van Essen could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 78th minute of the match, but Christer Kindler made a huge save. In the 79th minute, Adrian Prockl reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Christer Kindler. The goal made the score 0-7. If Gereon van Essen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Frischauf Harleshausen fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. FC Union Thale were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
