Akira Dieckmann made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Carl Hartmanns short, quick shot in the 21stth minute got Odo Stallmann to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Carl Hartmann charged in rather forcefully in the 25th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Carl Hartmann the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 25th match minute, 57 Freudenberg SV was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Carl Hartmann to maneuver through the defense. In the 26th match minute, fc marian was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Juliane Dronia to maneuver through the defense. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Benedikt Schwering in the 29th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Akira Dieckmann saved 57 Freudenberg SV from getting behind. Akira Dieckmann took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Juliane Dronia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Juliane Dronia stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the match, 57 Freudenberg SV's goal looked a bit too open when Juliane Dronia came free, but Akira Dieckmann reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 52nd minute, fc marian's Bernard Rebmann ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Akira Dieckmann. Akira Dieckmann yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-4. Kunibert Gehling hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. Akira Dieckmann took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kunibert Gehling, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Odo Stallmann showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Carl Hartmann in the 71st minute of the match. In the 73rd minute, Bernard Rebmann left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The fc marian fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-8. In the 77th match minute, fc marian was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kunibert Gehling to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in fc marian's zone, Martin Memmert stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Odo Stallmann came out of the goal and Martin Memmert tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 84 minutes into the match, fc marian's goal looked a bit too open when Martin Memmert came free, but Odo Stallmann reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 86th minute Robert Wörz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Odo Stallmann saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carl Hartmann in the 92nd minute of play forced fc marian's goalkeeper Odo Stallmann to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Juliane Dronia blasted a shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Akira Dieckmann having to make a save. In the 95th minute, Rainder Schmelter hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The long shot by Ingemar Vida in the 96th minute really tested Akira Dieckmann's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. The fc marian players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
