Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Ruth Bankert kicked off to start the match. Ekkehard Eisel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ruth Bankert, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match had gone on for 8 minutes, Ruth Bankert took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Ekkehard Eisel to make any attempt to save it. In the 14th minute Oberndorf City FC were awarded a corner. Klaus Dittrich went to the cornerflag to take it. A well-hit corner resulted in Tord Hüssler heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Ekkehard Eisel had great luck who in the 17thth minute grab hold of the ball when Ruth Bankert from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. Wilhelm Wörner recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 23rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Torsten Keiderling made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wilhelm Wörner in the 26th minute of play. In the 34th minute, Wilhelm Wörner made a precise shot to the right of Torsten Keiderling. Oberndorf City FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. If Volker Baum had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 42 minutes into the match, Oberndorf City FC's goal looked a bit too open when Wilhelm Wörner came free, but Torsten Keiderling reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Volker Baum fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Torsten Keiderling having to interfere. Wilhelm Wörner took the ball and in the 44 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Torsten Keiderling. Torsten Keiderling dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. After the first half Opladener bv were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Wilhelm Wörner was the one to do the kick off. After having played for 59 minutes, Volker Baum managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Opladener bv's supporters crossed their fingers, but Volker Baum was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Wilhelm Wörner in the 61st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Torsten Keiderling saved Oberndorf City FC from getting behind. After 62 played minutes Opladener bv got a freekick which was hit by Wilhelm Wörner. Volker Baum sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Torsten Keiderling showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wilhelm Wörner in the 67th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Volker Baum got free with Torsten Keiderling in the 69th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Wilhelm Wörner received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Torsten Keiderling tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 74 minutes, Wilhelm Wörner managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Opladener bv's supporters crossed their fingers, but Wilhelm Wörner was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Volker Baum had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 83 minutes into the match, Oberndorf City FC's goalkeeper Torsten Keiderling had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Volker Baum. In the 89th minute, Oberndorf City FC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Volker Baum fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. If Volker Baum had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the final whistle sounded Opladener bv left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Oberndorf City FC.
