Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Samuel Desoi started the match with the kick off. 3 minutes into the game, Daniel Maurer cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Götz Kaus was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The audience thought it was a sure goal in the 9th minute, when SV KAYZ's Emil Gniech after having done a great run through the defense got himself free with Götz Kaus in Geilnau's goal and fired away a shot, but it missed the goal by a fraction of an inch. Carsten Kaehlitz was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 13th minute. SV KAYZ's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Steffen Bracke charged in rather forcefully in the 14th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Steffen Bracke the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, SV KAYZ's Steffen Bracke got a free kick in the 15th minute. Carsten Kaehlitz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Götz Kaus tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Daniel Maurer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Götz Kaus having to interfere. Ede Blüher took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Reinald Schwensen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 33 minutes, Reinald Schwensen managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Geilnau's supporters crossed their fingers, but Reinald Schwensen was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Götz Kaus didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Daniel Maurer went, in the 37th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. After 43 played minutes Carsten Kaehlitz rounded Geilnau's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 3-0. In the 46th minute Samuel Desoi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ede Blüher saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Carsten Kaehlitz to strike the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Samuel Desoi in the 54th minute of play forced SV KAYZ's goalkeeper Ede Blüher to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Samuel Desoi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Ede Blüher tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Geilnau getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Reinhard Dinar hit a great ball. Götz Kaus stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Daniel Maurer's shot from short distance in the 61st minute. After 61 minutes, Reinhard Dinar mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Geilnau and the SV KAYZ players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 61st minute, Reinhard Dinar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Daniel Maurer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Götz Kaus having to interfere. 64 minutes into the match, SV KAYZ's Carsten Kaehlitz sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Götz Kaus narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 65 played minutes Geilnau got a freekick which was hit by Reinhard Dinar. In the 65th minute, Carsten Kaehlitz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Carsten Kaehlitz struck a weak shot in the 68th minute. Götz Kaus didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SV KAYZ. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Carsten Kaehlitz in the 74th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Götz Kaus prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Daniel Maurer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Götz Kaus having to interfere. Geilnau's Reinald Schwensen got a good chance for a goal in the 78th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Carsten Kaehlitz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Daniel Maurer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 93rd match minute, Geilnau was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Niels Stamitz to maneuver through the defense. In the 97th minute, Daniel Maurer got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. SV KAYZ's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
