Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Vaclav Nahles got the match started through his kick off. 9 minutes into the match, Elters's goalkeeper Wesley Teupel had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Fabian Liche. After 14 played minutes Elters got a freekick which was hit by Emilio Thomaschewski. In the 15th minute, Fabian Liche ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Wesley Teupel was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. After a defensive mix-up in Wattenscheid's zone, Fredi Aichler stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Albrecht Laing came out of the goal and Fredi Aichler tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 24 minutes into the game, Krister Neubauer was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Wattenscheid's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Elters the free kick. Krister Neubauer hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. 26 minutes into the match, Florian Wolber had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Albrecht Laing. Wattenscheid's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Florian Wolber was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. Esteban Leutheusser let the left foot speak when in front of goal in the 35th minute shot 3-1 at rihgt post. Elters's Wesley Teupel proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 40th minute of the match, managed to save Elters from getting a goal against them. After 40 played minutes Elters got a freekick which was hit by Fredi Aichler. Bastian Stupp sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 43 played minutes Elters got a freekick which was hit by Fredi Aichler. Albrecht Laing took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Florian Wolber, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-1 at half-time.

The wind increased when Florian Wolber made the kick off in the second half. Albrecht Laing made a fantastic save in the 52nd minute, when Florian Wolber sent off a good shot on target. If Wolf Gleißberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 59 minutes into the match, Elters's goal looked a bit too open when Fabian Liche came free, but Wesley Teupel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Wesley Teupel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Holger Lamp, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. In the 72nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Wattenscheid's goalkeeper Albrecht Laing, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Florian Wolber in the 74th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Albrecht Laing prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Krister Neubauer got his second yellow card in the match during the 75th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. In the 76th match minute, Wattenscheid was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Krister Neubauer to maneuver through the defense. Gerd-Peter Hocke scored 3-2 in the 81st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Albrecht Laing, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After having played for 84 minutes, Wolf Gleißberg managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Elters's supporters crossed their fingers, but Wolf Gleißberg was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Fredi Aichler received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Albrecht Laing tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 93rd minute, Fredi Aichler got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Olaf Rasper charged in rather forcefully in the 96th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Olaf Rasper the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play.
