Christer Kosack was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Marcel Barges had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. Christer Kosack tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Backenberg fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-4. In the 31st minute, Klemens Aicher got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Klemens Aicher fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Christer Kosack having to interfere. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Marcel Barges was the one to do the kick off. Friedrich Krinke charged in rather forcefully in the 54th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Marcel Barges in the 96th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Christer Kosack prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Backenberg's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
