Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) After a rather tough play, SV KAYZ's Steffen Bracke got a free kick in the 2nd minute. In the 6th minute, Carsten Kaehlitz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Henglarn's Christer Kosack played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carsten Kaehlitz in the 10th minute of play. Carsten Kaehlitz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Christer Kosack tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 18 played minutes SV KAYZ got a freekick which was hit by Steffen Bracke. Daniel Maurer's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 26thth minute, Christer Kosack skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Daniel Maurer recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 31st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 32 played minutes Henglarn got a freekick which was hit by Nicolas Raufuss. With an all-out effort, SV KAYZ's Christer Kosack threw himself towards the right post 33 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Carsten Kaehlitz, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After a rather tough play, Henglarn's Wolffram Riether got a free kick in the 34th minute. Carsten Kaehlitz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Christer Kosack having to interfere. After 37 minutes, Nicolas Raufuss mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Henglarn and the SV KAYZ players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 37th match minute, Henglarn was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nicolas Raufuss to maneuver through the defense. Henglarn's Christer Kosack played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carsten Kaehlitz in the 39th minute of play. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Carsten Kaehlitz was the one to do the kick off. 55 minutes had been played when some careless play by Henglarn's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Emil Gniech was slow to take the kick. During this time SV KAYZ's players had a chance to rest. SV KAYZ's Dominik Kaulbach was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Christer Kosack in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Christer Kosack stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Carsten Kaehlitz's shot from short distance in the 62nd minute. Christer Kosack showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Carsten Kaehlitz, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. Ede Blüher made an important save on a dangerous shot by Luka Heyde in the 65th minute. 66 minutes into the game, Mattes Happach was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. SV KAYZ's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Henglarn the free kick. After 66 played minutes SV KAYZ got a freekick which was hit by Mattes Happach. Daniel Maurer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Christer Kosack having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Carsten Kaehlitz's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Christer Kosack was relentless in the 71st minute of the game. The supporters of SV KAYZ booed when Henglarn was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Friedhold Hofner didn't get a good kick on the ball. Willy Wank hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. Ede Blüher made an important save on a dangerous shot by Luka Heyde in the 83rd minute. If Luka Heyde had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 90 minutes in the game, Luka Heyde fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Ede Blüher having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Henglarn's zone, Daniel Maurer stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Christer Kosack came out of the goal and Daniel Maurer tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Daniel Maurer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the SV KAYZ players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
