ASC Dorfclub's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Wichelnförth FC the free kick. Mattis Lohn hit a great freekick 5 minutes into the match. Mathias Ernesti showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bruno Spahn, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. Nicolas Probst sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Mattis Lohn received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Thilo Gunter Gennburg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Nicolas Probst sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 34 minutes into the match, Evert Wiegel had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Thilo Gunter Gennburg. Wichelnförth FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Evert Wiegel was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Thilo Gunter Gennburg stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Evert Wiegel's shot from short distance in the 39th minute. 43 minutes into the match, Mattis Lohn notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Wichelnförth FC's Thilo Gunter Gennburg. Thilo Gunter Gennburg was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. A collision led to Wichelnförth FC getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Bruno Spahn hit a great ball. In the 47thth minute of the game Evert Wiegel who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Wichelnförth FC's Thilo Gunter Gennburg was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Bruno Spahn to make the kick off. Evert Wiegel recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 54th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mattis Lohn in the 68th minute of play forced Wichelnförth FC's goalkeeper Thilo Gunter Gennburg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 69th minute Mattis Lohn shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Thilo Gunter Gennburg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Mattis Lohn came up free with the goalie in the 73rd minute, the ASC Dorfclub fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mattis Lohn couldn't finish the play. When ASC Dorfclub's Mattis Lohn, in the 74th minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for ASC Dorfclub. Roland Cakmakli received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Thilo Gunter Gennburg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With an all-out effort, ASC Dorfclub's Thilo Gunter Gennburg threw himself towards the right post 81 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Roland Cakmakli, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. The audience was convinced that Roland Cakmakli's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Thilo Gunter Gennburg was relentless in the 82nd minute of the game. After having played for 86 minutes, Evert Wiegel managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. ASC Dorfclub's supporters crossed their fingers, but Evert Wiegel was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Thilo Gunter Gennburg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Roland Cakmakli in the 89th minute of the match. In the 94th minute of the match Wichelnförth FC got a corner. ASC Dorfclub's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Jerry Schünemann ran over to the corner to take the kick. 96 minutes into the match, Bruno Spahn had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Mathias Ernesti. ASC Dorfclub's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Bruno Spahn was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the ASC Dorfclub players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
