Fabio Hilligloh might have been able to make a better finish in the 3rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Thilo Gunter Gennburg. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Fabio Hilligloh ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 6th minute Bruno Spahn shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Krister Rubeck saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Krister Rubeck showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bruno Spahn, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. Nicolas Probst struck a weak shot in the 13th minute. Krister Rubeck didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Wichelnförth FC. In the 14th minute, Bruno Spahn ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Krister Rubeck was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Uhrde FC's Krister Rubeck played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bruno Spahn in the 17th minute of play. Thilo Gunter Gennburg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Abdul Westermann, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Wichelnförth FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 25th minute, when Fabio Hilligloh scored to the left of an out of position Thilo Gunter Gennburg, making the score, 1-1. Abdul Westermann received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Thilo Gunter Gennburg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thilo Gunter Gennburg made a fantastic save in the 33rd minute, when Fabio Hilligloh sent off a good shot on target. Abdul Westermann received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Thilo Gunter Gennburg came out and tried to block the shot, but Abdul Westermann slotted it home off the left post making it 2-1 in the 36th minute. Dietrich Koziol charged in rather forcefully in the 38th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Dietrich Koziol the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Uhrde FC's Krister Rubeck played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bruno Spahn in the 41st minute of play. 45 minutes into the match, Uhrde FC's goal looked a bit too open when Bruno Spahn came free, but Krister Rubeck reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Abdul Westermann made a kick off. Thilo Gunter Gennburg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Abdul Westermann in the 59th minute of play. Nicolas Probst struck a weak shot in the 63rd minute. Krister Rubeck didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Wichelnförth FC. In the 68th match minute, Wichelnförth FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sonny van de Sand to maneuver through the defense. 72 minutes into the match, Wichelnförth FC's goal looked a bit too open when Fabio Hilligloh came free, but Thilo Gunter Gennburg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Uhrde FC's zone, Nicolas Probst stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Krister Rubeck came out of the goal and Nicolas Probst tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Bruno Spahn sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Fabio Hilligloh received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Thilo Gunter Gennburg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Fabio Hilligloh's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Thilo Gunter Gennburg read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 86th minute of play. Wichelnförth FC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
