Kasimir Dyckmans was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 13 minutes into the match. 13 minutes into the game, one of 1. FC Ratzeburg:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 24th match minute, Haimendorf FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Erhard Nimz to maneuver through the defense. Hansi Herter recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 29th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Thorbjörn Bidermann got free with Edward Achterdeck in the 32nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 33rd minute, Torsten Schug hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Rainer Stapelfeldt showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alex Bährmann in the 40th minute of the match. Through an outstanding action, after 44 minutes, Edward Achterdeck successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Vincent Weidemann to strike the kick off in the second half. 58 minutes into the match, 1. FC Ratzeburg's goal looked a bit too open when Thorbjörn Bidermann came free, but Edward Achterdeck reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Hansi Herter came up free with the goalie in the 64th minute, the 1. FC Ratzeburg fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hansi Herter couldn't finish the play. A collision led to 1. FC Ratzeburg getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Gerd Eduard Drostel hit a great ball. After 70 played minutes, Haimendorf FC's Jamie Frankiewitsch shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Edward Achterdeck came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Haimendorf FC reached it. Fabien Venekamp sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Hansi Herter struck a weak shot in the 77th minute. Rainer Stapelfeldt didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for 1. FC Ratzeburg. If Torsten Schug had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. If Hansi Herter had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 1. FC Ratzeburg's Torsten Schug got a good chance for a goal in the 85th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Vincent Weidemann fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edward Achterdeck having to interfere. Charly Spörer hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. Rainer Stapelfeldt showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gerd Eduard Drostel, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute.
