If Bernward Saager had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 34 minutes into the match, Fredi Bruder had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Felix Ortel. fc Peine's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Fredi Bruder was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. If Fredi Bruder had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

After 54 minutes fc Peine's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Viktor Kontny who took care of the corner kick. Fredi Bruder sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 68 minutes into the game, Moritz Marschke cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-2. Alex Sanio was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When Jorck Wochele came up free with the goalie in the 71st minute, the fc Peine fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jorck Wochele couldn't finish the play. Walter Moschner charged in rather forcefully in the 80th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Walter Moschner the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 80th minute of the game. One of MKS Kluczbork:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of fc Peine:s goal. Herbie Schallmo shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. 84 minutes into the match, MKS Kluczbork's goal looked a bit too open when Moritz Marschke came free, but Alex Sanio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 87th minute, Moritz Marschke ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Alex Sanio was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-2. Jonas Langsch sent away a hard shot on goal in the 99th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. For all the effort they put into the match, the MKS Kluczbork players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for fc Peine.
