Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Leo Nauth started the match with the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Trutz Poreski in the 11th minute of play forced Bahrdorf FC's goalkeeper Albert Pradel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Leo Nauth sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Kurt-Jürgen Wissler came up free with the goalie in the 22nd minute, the Berlin fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kurt-Jürgen Wissler couldn't finish the play. Robin Hörholdt's late challenge caught a Berlin's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Robin Hörholdt helped the player get up and apologised. After 23 played minutes Bahrdorf FC got a freekick which was hit by Robin Hörholdt. In the 40th minute, Trutz Poreski left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Berlin fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Kurt-Jürgen Wissler to strike the kick off in the second half. Hugo Rech fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Felix Schröder having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Leo Nauth in the 61st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Felix Schröder prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The crowd rose to their feet as Berlin's Kurt-Jürgen Wissler slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Albert Pradel. That made the score 0-2 after 62 minutes of play. 66 minutes into the match, Leo Nauth had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Felix Schröder. Berlin's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Leo Nauth was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. Albert Pradel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kurt-Jürgen Wissler, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Berlin's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Bahrdorf FC the free kick. When Leo Nauth, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 86 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Felix Schröder was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Philip Fuhl received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Felix Schröder tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Remo Röttgen fell near the penalty area in the 88th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Berlin's protests and gave Remo Röttgen a yellow card for diving instead. Remo Röttgen hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. In the 93rdth minute of the game Leo Nauth who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Berlin's Felix Schröder was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Berlin were delighted with the way they had won the match. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over Bahrdorf FC's much stronger midfield.
