In the 6th minute of the match Hagen Heinzelmann sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Adam Schnell skillfully saved the ball. Achim Storz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Alexander Brütting charged in rather forcefully in the 9th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Alexander Brütting the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The Adam Schnell was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Willi Walhöfer took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 32nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Adam Schnell. Deathcore Alliance's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Ephraim Szangolies charged in rather forcefully in the 33rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ephraim Szangolies the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 33 played minutes Deathcore Alliance got a freekick which was hit by Ephraim Szangolies. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Pascal Männer made the kick off in the second half. Adam Schnell took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Achim Storz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ludo Thülig sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. VFL OSNABRÜCK's Flo Hägele got a good chance for a goal in the 89th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for VFL OSNABRÜCK. When the match had been going on for 97 minutes, Deathcore Alliance's Hasse Karhoff got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Zvonimir Stolz. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The VFL OSNABRÜCK fans cheered their team off the field, for while Deathcore Alliance had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
