Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Rainer Lack fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Otto Daus having to interfere. Otto Daus showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Finn Biege, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. If Finn Biege had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, Surtal's Li Lin Lin got control of the ball when Elvis Volz tried to sneak it across the goal line. When the referee ended the match the Surtal players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
