The referee felt a red card was in order, 21 minutes into the game, when Lauritz Legler put in a rough tackle. When Delay Sports's Georg Fitzenreiter in the 26th minute got a chance for a shot 26th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Efraim Au made a kick off. When the match had gone on for 51 minutes, Fabio Mair took a quick shot and it went in 2-1 without a chance for Eros Buschenhagen to make any attempt to save it. In the 55th minute, Fabio Mair got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Georg Fitzenreiter took the ball and in the 63 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Eros Buschenhagen. Eros Buschenhagen dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. TuS Westfalen Lippe's Eros Buschenhagen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fabio Mair in the 69th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in TuS Westfalen Lippe's zone, Fabio Mair stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eros Buschenhagen came out of the goal and Fabio Mair tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Fabio Mair had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Georg Fitzenreiter's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 75thth minute, Eros Buschenhagen skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After 76 played minutes TuS Westfalen Lippe got a freekick which was hit by Jesko Richter. Georg Fitzenreiter sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 87thth minute of the game Georg Fitzenreiter who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but TuS Westfalen Lippe's Eros Buschenhagen was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Okke Nießen charged in rather forcefully in the 88th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Okke Nießen the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 88th minute, Okke Nießen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Fabio Mair had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 91st minute, Georg Fitzenreiter ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Eros Buschenhagen was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-4. In the 95th match minute, Delay Sports was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sid Amend to maneuver through the defense. Efraim Au received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Douglas Wagner tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Delay Sports's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
