If Immanuel Schub had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 16 played minutes, 1.FC Georgenhaag's Fynn Söbbe shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Johann Bachmann came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in 1.FC Georgenhaag reached it. Immanuel Schub fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fritz Schreiner having to interfere. If Immanuel Schub had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Eduard Humpkamp recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 25th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Johann Bachmann took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Albrecht Borgmann, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Tilmann Schmitt fell near the penalty area in the 28th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Klein Amerika's protests and gave Tilmann Schmitt a yellow card for diving instead. Tilmann Schmitt hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. After 31 played minutes 1.FC Georgenhaag got a freekick which was hit by Albrecht Borgmann. Battista Schicker struck a weak shot in the 33rd minute. Fritz Schreiner didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Klein Amerika. Johann Bachmann made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Albrecht Borgmann in the 37th minute of play. Rodrigo Dressel charged in rather forcefully in the 37th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Rodrigo Dressel the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 38 played minutes Klein Amerika got a freekick which was hit by Rodrigo Dressel. After some fancy dribbling in the 39th minute, Albrecht Borgmann managed to get in a good position for a shot. 1.FC Georgenhaag's supporters rose to their feet, but Albrecht Borgmann was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Johann Bachmann breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a little luck, Klein Amerika's Johann Bachmann got control of the ball when Winfried van Slooten tried to sneak it across the goal line. Albrecht Borgmann received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Johann Bachmann tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Battista Schicker to strike the kick off in the second half. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Albrecht Borgmann in the 54th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Johann Bachmann saved Klein Amerika from getting behind. In the 63rd minute, Klein Amerika's Battista Schicker dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-3. If Eduard Humpkamp had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Albrecht Borgmann took the ball and in the 70 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Johann Bachmann. Johann Bachmann dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. Battista Schicker fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fritz Schreiner having to interfere. Johann Bachmann showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Albrecht Borgmann in the 79th minute of the match. In the 87th minute, Klein Amerika's Battista Schicker dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-4. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Klein Amerika eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
