With a little luck, Biersdorf's Nestor Makhno got control of the ball when Oswald Löw tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 18th minute, Sören Pletz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Nestor Makhno made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gianluca Beyer in the 24th minute of play. In the 24th minute, Kostja Sass hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Nestor Makhno showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gianluca Beyer, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. The supporters of Biersdorf booed when Lüneburger SK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jaro Krebitz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Enno Chille took the ball and in the 34 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Lutz Dückert. Lutz Dückert dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. If Mátyás Balázs had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 41 played minutes Lüneburger SK got a freekick which was hit by Moritz Ebenfeld. After the first half Biersdorf were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

After having played for 53 minutes, Sören Pletz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Biersdorf's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sören Pletz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 54th minute, Moritz Ebenfeld hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience was convinced that Enno Chille's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Lutz Dückert was relentless in the 55th minute of the game. In the 62nd minute, Moritz Ebenfeld hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Nestor Makhno showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Oswald Löw in the 66th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Enno Chille in the 67th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Lutz Dückert prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Biersdorf's Nestor Makhno played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gianluca Beyer in the 69th minute of play. Oswald Löw received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Nestor Makhno tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tim Carlhoff took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 79th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Nestor Makhno. Biersdorf's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Lutz Dückert had great luck who in the 84thth minute grab hold of the ball when Enno Chille from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. After a rather tough play, Biersdorf's Ditmar Peschke got a free kick in the 89th minute. When the final whistle sounded Biersdorf left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Lüneburger SK.
