The Bakenberg FSV fans' excitement grew in the 7th match minute when Bakenberg FSV's Tizian Hornsteiner looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tizian Hornsteiner in the 10th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Achaz Störmer prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A collision led to Bakenberg FSV getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Edmund Giesen hit a great ball. Achaz Störmer took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edmund Giesen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Bakenberg FSV booed when GÖZTEPE was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Michael Butzlaff didn't get a good kick on the ball. Edmund Giesen recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 14th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edmund Giesen in the 16th minute of play forced GÖZTEPE's goalkeeper Achaz Störmer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Achaz Störmer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edmund Giesen in the 19th minute of play. Lovis Kindel took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 23rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Thierry Bagehorn. Bakenberg FSV's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Josef Zanter kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. 27 minutes into the match, Bakenberg FSV's goal looked a bit too open when Sean Kallenbrunnen came free, but Thierry Bagehorn reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 29 minutes into the match, Bakenberg FSV's Edmund Giesen sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Achaz Störmer narrowly saved just below the crossbar. GÖZTEPE's Achaz Störmer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tizian Hornsteiner in the 46th minute of play. After the first half Bakenberg FSV were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Sean Kallenbrunnen made the kick off in the second half. Jonas Lang sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 54 minutes into the game, Sean Kallenbrunnen cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Thierry Bagehorn was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Paul Stradinger charged in rather forcefully in the 58th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Paul Stradinger the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Bakenberg FSV getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Paul Stradinger hit a great ball. Edmund Giesen was extremely unlucky when he, in the 69th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. With a little luck, GÖZTEPE's Achaz Störmer got control of the ball when Tizian Hornsteiner tried to sneak it across the goal line. Tizian Hornsteiner succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-3 in the 73rd playminute. Tizian Hornsteiner sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 89th match minute, Bakenberg FSV was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Josef Zanter to maneuver through the defense. In the 91st minute the ball was on its way in behind GÖZTEPE's goalkeeper Achaz Störmer, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar.
