Wilhelm Küpper showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dimitar Ernst in the 4th minute of the match. FC Hamburg's Berti Reents got a good chance for a goal in the 12th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Adalbert Böker made in the 15th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by FC Hamburg's Kornelius Langhals. Kornelius Langhals received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Hans Bismarck tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, FC Hamburg's Ralph Suttner got a free kick in the 19th minute. Hans Bismarck showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jakob Goebel in the 25th minute of the match. 31 minutes into the game, Jakob Goebel cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Hans Bismarck was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When FC Hamburg's Jakob Goebel in the 35th minute got a chance for a shot 35th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jakob Goebel to strike the kick off in the second half. Hans Bismarck made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Freddi Wering in the 51st minute of play. Hans Bismarck was a little too slow when Freddi Wering got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 57th minute. The score was now 1-4. In the 59th minute, Dimitar Ernst hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 68 played minutes SC Tisaki got a freekick which was hit by Lance Köstler. 70 minutes into the match, SC Tisaki's goalkeeper Hans Bismarck had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Eugen Rieth. FC Hamburg's Jakob Goebel got a good chance for a goal in the 71st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in SC Tisaki's zone, Freddi Wering stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hans Bismarck came out of the goal and Freddi Wering tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 73 minutes, Freddi Wering managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Hamburg's supporters crossed their fingers, but Freddi Wering was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Hans Bismarck stood somewhat misplaced when Jakob Goebel came free in front of goal and shot 1-5 to the left of him in the 75 minute. A collision led to FC Hamburg getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Ralph Suttner hit a great ball. In the 80th minute, Eugen Rieth left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC Hamburg fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-6. Jakob Goebel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hans Bismarck having to interfere. When the match was over FC Hamburg could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than SC Tisaki throughout the match.
