The tension between the Biersdorf and the FC Hamburg players grew even worse after the yellow card. Sören Pletz kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. In the 84th minute Jakob Goebel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nestor Makhno saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jakob Goebel in the 87th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Nestor Makhno prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Biersdorf had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
