Spectators: 7490 (Terracing: 5618, Seating: 1723, VIP seats: 149) OvA Singen's Etienne Ullrich played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gernot Aydin in the 5th minute of play. If Gernot Aydin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 11th minute, Gernot Aydin fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Etienne Ullrich didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Matthias Louven went, in the 11th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Kai Rüther during the 16th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Gel Hele getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Kai Rüther hit a great ball. In the 18th minute Michael Brock shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Klaus Klötzer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Michael Brock sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Kai Rüther was shown his second yellow card after 22 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Kai Rüther hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. Michael Brock sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Gel Hele's zone, Michael Brock stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Klaus Klötzer came out of the goal and Michael Brock tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Matthias Louven had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ingolf Schulmeyer kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. After 34 played minutes, OvA Singen's Gerhard Kühnen shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Klaus Klötzer came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in OvA Singen reached it. After some fancy dribbling in the 40th minute, Matthias Louven managed to get in a good position for a shot. Gel Hele's supporters rose to their feet, but Matthias Louven was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Etienne Ullrich breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Dennis Port charged in rather forcefully in the 45th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Dennis Port the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of OvA Singen booed when Gel Hele was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dennis Port didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The wind increased when Kristian Breiter made the kick off in the second half. Kristian Breiter recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 51st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 53 minutes into the game, Artur Kneuer was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Gel Hele's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave OvA Singen the free kick. Klaus Klötzer went to the wrong direction when Gerhard Kühnen was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. Gel Hele's Klaus Klötzer proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 57th minute of the match, managed to save Gel Hele from getting a goal against them. Michael Brocks short, quick shot in the 59thth minute got Klaus Klötzer to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Henning Schallmo during the 62nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Henning Schallmo hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. In the 64th minute of the match, Kristian Breiter tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Klaus Klötzer saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kristian Breiter in the 76th minute of play forced Gel Hele's goalkeeper Klaus Klötzer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 77 minutes into the game, Hannes Molorciuc was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Gel Hele's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave OvA Singen the free kick. After 77 played minutes Gel Hele got a freekick which was hit by Hannes Molorciuc. Michael Brock recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 80th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 81st minute, Dennis Port hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Matthias Louven had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 87th minute Matthias Louven shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Etienne Ullrich saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 89 minutes, Michael Brock managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. OvA Singen's supporters crossed their fingers, but Michael Brock was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Kristian Breiter received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Klaus Klötzer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Kristian Breiter struck a weak shot in the 93rd minute. Klaus Klötzer didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for OvA Singen. Max Uhde's late challenge caught a OvA Singen's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Max Uhde helped the player get up and apologised. In the 95th match minute, Gel Hele was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Max Uhde to maneuver through the defense. Kristian Breiter fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Klaus Klötzer having to interfere. Gel Hele were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of OvA Singen for a fine match.
