The audience was convinced that Folker Engelmann's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but René Herzog was relentless in the 14th minute of the game. Julius Riehm fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without René Herzog having to interfere. If Torsten Elzer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Michael Nachtmann during the 37th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Torsten Elzer to make the kick off. Michael Nachtmann kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. When Bernhard Abrogans came up free with the goalie in the 62nd minute, the KS Czarna fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bernhard Abrogans couldn't finish the play. Hernando Locherer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without René Herzog having to interfere. Folker Engelmann scored 1-0 in the 69th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of René Herzog, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The Fenerbahce Cologne fans' excitement grew in the 72nd match minute when Fenerbahce Cologne's Folker Engelmann looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Julius Riehm fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without René Herzog having to interfere. René Herzog made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Folker Engelmann in the 79th minute of play. After a rather tough play, KS Czarna's Max Horst got a free kick in the 79th minute. In the 83rdth minute of the game Folker Engelmann who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but KS Czarna's René Herzog was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Julius Riehm recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 84th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Folker Engelmann had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 87 minutes into the match, Julius Riehm notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of KS Czarna's René Herzog. René Herzog was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Julius Riehm might have been able to make a better finish in the 91st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over René Herzog. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Julius Riehm ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Julius Riehm in the 94th minute of play forced KS Czarna's goalkeeper René Herzog to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
