The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Walter Rilke during the 2nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 7th match minute, Zschortau was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Merijan Peeger to maneuver through the defense. Heinrich Dräger fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tobias Dey having to interfere. If Walter Rilke had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hendrik Kleffel in the 20th minute of play forced Zschortau's goalkeeper Glenn Ruck to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Zschortau's Glenn Ruck played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hendrik Kleffel in the 24th minute of play. The supporters of 1. FC Shuriaz booed when Zschortau was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Helge Radtke didn't get a good kick on the ball. Nuran Brausch blasted a shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Glenn Ruck having to make a save. 30 minutes into the match, 1. FC Shuriaz's goal looked a bit too open when Walter Rilke came free, but Tobias Dey reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Glenn Ruck made an important save on a dangerous shot by Nuran Brausch in the 33rd minute. In the 35th minute of the match Ekke Straub sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Tobias Dey skillfully saved the ball. The supporters of 1. FC Shuriaz booed when Zschortau was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Siegfried Kircher didn't get a good kick on the ball. Walter Rilke might have been able to make a better finish in the 43rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Tobias Dey. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Tobias Dey tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Hendrik Kleffel to make the kick off. In the 57th minute of the match, Walter Rilke tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Tobias Dey saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. When Walter Rilke came up free with the goalie in the 59th minute, the Zschortau fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Walter Rilke couldn't finish the play. Tarkan Rainer kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. Hendrik Kleffel charged in rather forcefully in the 63rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Hendrik Kleffel the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Hendrik Kleffel hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. In the 64th match minute, Zschortau was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Walter Rilke to maneuver through the defense. Dimitrios Graf hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. Eusebio Scholz took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 69th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Glenn Ruck. Zschortau's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Walter Rilke sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 76 minutes into the match, Zschortau's goal looked a bit too open when Hendrik Kleffel came free, but Glenn Ruck reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nuran Brausch sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tobias Dey showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Walter Rilke in the 80th minute of the match. A hard shot 89 in the game by Heinrich Dräger from a close distance when the talented Tobias Dey managed to make a qualified save. 1. FC Shuriaz's players were relieved. After 91 minutes, Tarkan Rainer mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the 1. FC Shuriaz and the Zschortau players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 92nd match minute, 1. FC Shuriaz was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tarkan Rainer to maneuver through the defense. In the 93rd minute of the match Siegfried Kircher shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Tobias Dey showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After a defensive mix-up in 1. FC Shuriaz's zone, Heinrich Dräger stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tobias Dey came out of the goal and Heinrich Dräger tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The 1. FC Shuriaz supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Zschortau's performance. The match ended with a win for Zschortau.
