Dustin Heuchel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Hemmo Daus tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 25 played minutes Oberwipper FC got a freekick which was hit by Matti Mackensen. Kosmas Woyke fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hemmo Daus having to interfere. 31 minutes into the match, Tieg FC's goal looked a bit too open when Dustin Heuchel came free, but Hemmo Daus reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fritz Blumenthal kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. If Dustin Heuchel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 38th minute, Kosmas Woyke got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Loris Ehrlich made an important save on a dangerous shot by Hans Behling in the 40th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Matti Mackensen during the 44th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Oberwipper FC getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Matti Mackensen hit a great ball. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

After a defensive mix-up in Tieg FC's zone, Kosmas Woyke stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hemmo Daus came out of the goal and Kosmas Woyke tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of Oberwipper FC booed when Tieg FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Reinhold Zimmermann didn't get a good kick on the ball. Kosmas Woyke fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hemmo Daus having to interfere. Dustin Heuchel in the 67thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Hemmo Daus, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After having played for 70 minutes, Kosmas Woyke managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Oberwipper FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kosmas Woyke was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Hemmo Daus made a fantastic save in the 72nd minute, when Dustin Heuchel sent off a good shot on target. Dustin Heuchel struck a weak shot in the 73rd minute. Hemmo Daus didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Oberwipper FC. If Dustin Heuchel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sirius Deuerling fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Loris Ehrlich having to interfere. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 88th minute of the game. One of Oberwipper FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Tieg FC:s goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 96th minute, Wilken Jürgens managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tieg FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Wilken Jürgens was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Loris Ehrlich breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
