When Alonso Verheyen fell near the penalty area in the 5th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Fortuna Ballendorf's protests and gave Alonso Verheyen a yellow card for diving instead. In the 5th minute, Alonso Verheyen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Philipp Fuchtel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Leander Pomper's late challenge caught a Fortuna Ballendorf's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Leander Pomper helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Fortuna Ballendorf booed when FC Pavonix was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leander Pomper didn't get a good kick on the ball. 10 minutes into the match, Ambrosius Lunau sent off a long shot that looked like it was going straight into the goal, but because Wulf Ripsam threw himself in his full length he managed to grip the ball by the left post, and there was no goal for Ambrosius Lunau this time. In the 12th minute, Uwe Weigant hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Christof Overkamp received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Wulf Ripsam tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Otfried Cisek fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jörg Haller having to interfere. Fabio Popitz hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. The audience was convinced that Oleg Seelert's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jörg Haller was relentless in the 25th minute of the game. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Oleg Seelert in the 29th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jörg Haller prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The wind increased when Philipp Fuchtel made the kick off in the second half. Wulf Ripsam showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Philipp Fuchtel, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. In the 52nd minute, Philipp Fuchtel got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 55th minute, Oleg Seelert ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jörg Haller was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Philipp Fuchtel in the 60th minute of play forced FC Pavonix's goalkeeper Wulf Ripsam to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in FC Pavonix's zone, Christof Overkamp stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Wulf Ripsam came out of the goal and Christof Overkamp tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Fortuna Ballendorf's Philipp Fuchtel in the 66th minute got a chance for a shot 66th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye FC Pavonix's goalie prevented a goal. 73 minutes into the match, Fortuna Ballendorf's Philipp Fuchtel sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Wulf Ripsam narrowly saved just below the crossbar. FC Pavonix's Wulf Ripsam played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Philipp Fuchtel in the 77th minute of play. Damir Munz hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. After 80 played minutes, Fortuna Ballendorf's Ambrosius Lunau shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Wulf Ripsam came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Fortuna Ballendorf reached it. Philipp Fuchtel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wulf Ripsam having to interfere.
