Spectators: 7526 (Terracing: 5645, Seating: 1731, VIP seats: 150) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Walter Sempert took the kick off in the first half of the match. Björn Kunert received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 3rd minute. Morgan Jost tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Franz Hoppen kicked well hit freekick during the 4th minute of the match. Franz Hoppen scored 0-1 in the 6th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Fredo Verheyen, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Morgan Jost came out of the goal in the 9th minute to try and stop a shot by Maschhaupt FC's Björn Kunert. But to his dismay, Björn Kunert quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Guido Pawellek in the 12th minute of play forced FSV Laagberg's goalkeeper Morgan Jost to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Heinz Szurmant fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Morgan Jost having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Zaman Böger during the 20th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Maschhaupt FC booed when FSV Laagberg was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zaman Böger didn't get a good kick on the ball. Heinz Szurmant sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of FSV Laagberg booed when Maschhaupt FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ulfert Kastner didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 30th minute of the match Zaman Böger shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Fredo Verheyen showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. A hard shot 38 in the game by Heinz Szurmant from a close distance when the talented Morgan Jost managed to make a qualified save. FSV Laagberg's players were relieved. Fredo Verheyen didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ralf Pronold went, in the 46th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Bernd Siberichs hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. Heinz Szurmant's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Morgan Jost read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 57th minute of play. If Mario Brockschmidt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 60 played minutes FSV Laagberg got a freekick which was hit by Ralf Pronold. When Heinz Szurmant came up free with the goalie in the 64th minute, the Maschhaupt FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Heinz Szurmant couldn't finish the play. Heinz Szurmant struck a weak shot in the 67th minute. Morgan Jost didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Maschhaupt FC. Guido Pawellek recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 68th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, FSV Laagberg's Franz Hoppen got a free kick in the 71st minute. Ralf Pronold in the 74thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Fredo Verheyen, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. The crowd rose to their feet as FSV Laagberg's Markus Schütt slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Fredo Verheyen. That made the score 1-3 after 77 minutes of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 81st minute, Walter Sempert managed to get in a good position for a shot. FSV Laagberg's supporters rose to their feet, but Walter Sempert was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fredo Verheyen breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 83 minutes into the match, Maschhaupt FC's goalkeeper Fredo Verheyen had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Markus Schütt. Markus Schütt hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. Morgan Jost showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Heinz Szurmant in the 95th minute of the match. The Maschhaupt FC manager could be seen shouting at his players as they walked down the tunnel after the match. He was clearly angry that they had squandered their superior possession, allowing FSV Laagberg to win.
