Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Jörg Höfner was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 6 minutes into the match. In the 7th match minute, DIEGO 18 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jörg Höfner to maneuver through the defense. Balko Hoppen, 8 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. The throw-in from Dag Schrappe in the 11th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by DIEGO 18's Abi Seebens. Naohiro Ber came out of the goal in the 17th minute to try and stop a shot by FC Trani's Lorenzo Kraft. But to his dismay, Lorenzo Kraft quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. DIEGO 18's Henning Pajonk managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Dag Schrappe in the 20 minute of the game. DIEGO 18's attentive Henning Pajonk managed to snatch the ball when Dag Schrappe made a throw-in in the 22nd minute of the game. If Heimito Kuhnert had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dag Schrappe made in the 33rd minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by DIEGO 18's Henning Pajonk. The throw-in from Dag Schrappe in the 34th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by DIEGO 18's Henning Pajonk. Mischa Schuldt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Heimito Kuhnert had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nestor Kreuzberger fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wilfried Goldberg having to interfere. In the 45th minute, Abi Seebens got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The supporters of DIEGO 18 booed when FC Trani was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lorenzo Kraft didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Heimito Kuhnert came up free with the goalie in the 53rd minute, the DIEGO 18 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Heimito Kuhnert couldn't finish the play. DIEGO 18's Nestor Kreuzberger got a good chance for a goal in the 56th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Mischa Schuldt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nestor Kreuzberger sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 61st minute, Heimito Kuhnert managed to get in a good position for a shot. DIEGO 18's supporters rose to their feet, but Heimito Kuhnert was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Wilfried Goldberg breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Heimito Kuhnert blasted a shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Wilfried Goldberg having to make a save. Wilfried Goldberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Heimito Kuhnert, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Nestor Kreuzberger recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 71st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Heimito Kuhnert in the 76th minute of play forced FC Trani's goalkeeper Wilfried Goldberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mischa Schuldt struck a weak shot in the 79th minute. Wilfried Goldberg didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for DIEGO 18. Wilfried Goldberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Heimito Kuhnert in the 81st minute of play. When Abi Seebens came up free with the goalie in the 84th minute, the DIEGO 18 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Abi Seebens couldn't finish the play. In the 86th minute, Heimito Kuhnert got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 90th minute, Heimito Kuhnert left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The DIEGO 18 fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. FC Trani succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though DIEGO 18 had controlled the match.
