Spectators: 7646 (Terracing: 5736, Seating: 1758, VIP seats: 152) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Hippo Bucher kicked off to start the match. A hard shot 8 in the game by Johann Beideler from a close distance when the talented Fredo Verheyen managed to make a qualified save. Maschhaupt FC's players were relieved. After 15 played minutes TSV Laim got a freekick which was hit by Alvo Faller. Hubert Münst kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. When the match clock showed 18 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Hippo Bucher sped through TSV Laim's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Tobias Muchow. Fredo Verheyen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hubert Münst, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 31st minute, Sandro Bahr hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Maschhaupt FC's Hippo Bucher got a good chance for a goal in the 33rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Maschhaupt FC's Ulfert Kastner quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Bjarne Bohnsack, made in the 36th minute of the game. Fredo Verheyen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alvo Faller in the 38th minute of play. Johann Beideler could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 41st minute of the match, but Fredo Verheyen made a huge save. In the 47th minute, Alvo Faller got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Johann Beideler made a kick off. Maschhaupt FC's Fredo Verheyen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alvo Faller in the 51st minute of play. The throw-in from Ulfert Kastner in the 57th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by TSV Laim's Bjarne Bohnsack. Hippo Bucher charged in rather forcefully in the 60th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Hippo Bucher the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. 64 minutes into the match, Maschhaupt FC's goal looked a bit too open when Johann Beideler came free, but Fredo Verheyen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bjarne Bohnsack made in the 67th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Maschhaupt FC's Mario Brockschmidt. The crowd rose to their feet as Hippo Bucher kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Tobias Muchow. That made the score 0-2 in the 68 minute of play. Björn Kunert received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Tobias Muchow tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 73 minutes, Johann Beideler managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. TSV Laim's supporters crossed their fingers, but Johann Beideler was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 78 minutes into the game, Johann Beideler cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Fredo Verheyen was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Fredo Verheyen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hubert Münst in the 82nd minute of play. Sandro Bahr kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. Tobias Muchow had great luck who in the 87thth minute grab hold of the ball when Hippo Bucher from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. Fredo Verheyen came out of the goal in the 89th minute to try and stop a shot by TSV Laim's Johann Beideler. But to his dismay, Johann Beideler quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. Fredo Verheyen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Johann Beideler in the 92nd minute of play. Maschhaupt FC's Fredo Verheyen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alvo Faller in the 94th minute of play. Björn Kunert took the ball and in the 97 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Tobias Muchow. Tobias Muchow dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-3. The Maschhaupt FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Maschhaupt FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
