Maschhaupt FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Otfried Cisek was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. In the 37th minute of the match, Mario Brockschmidt tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Wulf Ripsam saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. FC Pavonix's defense didn't have a chance, in the 40th minute, when Hippo Bucher scored to the left of an out of position Wulf Ripsam, making the score, 3-2. Hippo Bucher sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 46th match minute, Maschhaupt FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arne Bauernfeld to maneuver through the defense. In the 48thth minute of the game Otfried Cisek who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Maschhaupt FC's Fredo Verheyen was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

In the 62nd minute, Hippo Bucher got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Fredo Verheyen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Damir Munz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 65 minutes of play, FC Pavonix's Damir Munz made it 4-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Fredo Verheyen was left in no man's land by his defense there! Fredo Verheyen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Otfried Cisek in the 71st minute of play. With his leg Fredo Verheyen managed to avoid a goal in the 80thth minute, when FC Pavonix's Oleg Seelert fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Wulf Ripsam showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mario Brockschmidt in the 81st minute of the match. Fredo Verheyen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Otfried Cisek, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Leander Pomper got free with Fredo Verheyen in the 94th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Hippo Bucher sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
