Spectators: 5820 (Terracing: 4300, Seating: 1500, VIP seats: 20) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Bruno Abts got the match started through his kick off. 2 minutes into the game, Heintje Roemer was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Joga Bonita's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Maschhaupt FC the free kick. In the 2nd match minute, Joga Bonita was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Heintje Roemer to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bruno Abts in the 6th minute of play forced Maschhaupt FC's goalkeeper Fredo Verheyen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Maschhaupt FC's Hippo Bucher got a good chance for a goal in the 8th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of Maschhaupt FC booed when Joga Bonita was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ingvar Bork didn't get a good kick on the ball. Fredo Verheyen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bruno Abts, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Achmed Wiegmann took the ball and in the 16 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Fredo Verheyen. Fredo Verheyen dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. After a rather tough play, Joga Bonita's Achmed Wiegmann got a free kick in the 18th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 21st minute, Björn Kunert managed to get in a good position for a shot. Maschhaupt FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Björn Kunert was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dennis Kranz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 23rd minute, Achmed Wiegmann left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Joga Bonita fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. 28 minutes into the match, Bruno Abts notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Maschhaupt FC's Fredo Verheyen. Fredo Verheyen was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Hippo Bucher recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 33rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Hippo Bucher in the 39th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dennis Kranz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A collision led to Joga Bonita getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Michael Stapelfeldt hit a great ball. Hippo Bucher scored 3-1 in the 45th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Dennis Kranz, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-1 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Hippo Bucher was the one to do the kick off. Ingvar Bork made in the 52nd minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Maschhaupt FC's Mario Brockschmidt. 53 minutes into the match, Joga Bonita's goalkeeper Dennis Kranz had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Björn Kunert. After 55 played minutes Joga Bonita got a freekick which was hit by Bruno Abts. 59 minutes into the match, Maschhaupt FC's goal looked a bit too open when Niklas Petrick came free, but Fredo Verheyen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 61st match minute, Joga Bonita was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Björn Kalter to maneuver through the defense. Dennis Kranz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Guido Pawellek, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. Heintje Roemer got his second yellow card in the match during the 65th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. In the 66th match minute, Joga Bonita was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Heintje Roemer to maneuver through the defense. If Niklas Petrick had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dennis Kranz came out of the goal in the 74th minute to try and stop a shot by Maschhaupt FC's Hippo Bucher. But to his dismay, Hippo Bucher quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-2. In the 81st minute, Hippo Bucher ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Dennis Kranz was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-3. Dennis Kranz was a little too slow when Hippo Bucher got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 85th minute. The score was now 3-4. Guido Pawellek received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Dennis Kranz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 93 minutes, Conni Fandel mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Joga Bonita and the Maschhaupt FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Joga Bonita's Conni Fandel got a free kick in the 93rd minute. Joga Bonita's Niklas Petrick got a good chance for a goal in the 95th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
