The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Philipp Fuchtel stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Fabio Popitz hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Walter Sempert in the 72nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jörg Haller prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Micha-Alexander Ernst hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. The Fortuna Ballendorf fans' excitement grew in the 78th match minute when Fortuna Ballendorf's Philipp Fuchtel looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After 84 minutes of play, FSV Laagberg's Ralf Pronold made it 3-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jörg Haller was left in no man's land by his defense there! The supporters of FSV Laagberg booed when Fortuna Ballendorf was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Reinhard Sitter didn't get a good kick on the ball. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
