Jörg Haller was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Jörg Haller came out of the goal in the 17th minute to try and stop a shot by TSV Laim's Johann Beideler. But to his dismay, Johann Beideler quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Johann Beideler was the one to do the kick off. After a rather tough play, Fortuna Ballendorf's Uwe Weigant got a free kick in the 52nd minute. TSV Laim's Hubert Rupalla got a good chance for a goal in the 54th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 56th minute, Christof Overkamp left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Fortuna Ballendorf fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. Jörg Haller stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Alvo Faller's shot from short distance in the 60th minute. Fabio Popitz hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. 61 minutes into the match, Alvo Faller had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jörg Haller. Fortuna Ballendorf's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Alvo Faller was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. Fortuna Ballendorf's Jörg Haller played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Johann Beideler in the 77th minute of play. Jörg Haller showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Johann Beideler, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. Fortuna Ballendorf's Jörg Haller played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Johann Beideler in the 85th minute of play. Jörg Haller didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Johann Beideler went, in the 87th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-1 was the resulting score. Johann Beideler recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 90th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 92nd minute, Johann Beideler managed to get in a good position for a shot. TSV Laim's supporters rose to their feet, but Johann Beideler was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jörg Haller breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Johann Beideler in the 95th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jörg Haller prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A collision led to Fortuna Ballendorf getting a freekick after 97 minutes play. Fabio Popitz hit a great ball. 98 minutes into the match, Fortuna Ballendorf's goal looked a bit too open when Johann Beideler came free, but Jörg Haller reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. TSV Laim's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
