Fortuna Ballendorf's supporters crossed their fingers, but Philipp Fuchtel was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Christof Overkamp had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mario Stevens kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Philipp Fuchtel made the kick off in the second half. Boubacar Ofori was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Boubacar Ofori made an important save on a dangerous shot by Christof Overkamp in the 94th minute. TB Richen's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
